We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and inspiring colleague to join our highly regarded and successful English Faculty. We seek the very best teachers who can consistently teach good or better lessons. You will be able to enthuse and motivate our students with your passion for English and creative teaching, presence and personality.

English is a high achieving and dynamic faculty. Results are outstanding and students make excellent progress. Members of the team are totally committed to ensuring successful outcomes for our students. In 2015, 67% of students achieved 5A*-C in English and Maths, making Camborne Science and International Academy, for the third year running, the top performing state secondary school in Cornwall. At English GCSE, 86 % of students made expected progress compared to a national average of 73%.

At post-16 we currently offer A-level English, Drama and Media, very popular and highly successful options for our VI Form students.

Our school has developed exceptional International Science and Mathematics links with top schools in Japan, Singapore, Thailand, China and South Korea.

Recent collaboration has involved joint research projects, International Science and Mathematics fairs and competitions, as well as many significant student/staff visits and exchanges. The successful appointees will have the opportunity to participate in this amazing and unique programme.
