English Teacher – The Bridge Academy Hackney – South Hackney

The Bridge Academy opened in September 2007 and we currently cater for 900 students in Years 7-11, and a Sixth Form with 250 students.

Our specialisms are Music and Mathematics and we use them to drive innovation and creativity across the Academy. We set high standards for teaching and learning, and our students enjoy a varied, rich and broad curriculum.

Our award winning building in the South of Hackney is outstanding, with state of the art facilities for our students, staff and the local community.

We seek a dynamic and innovative English Teacher to join our successful English Department. The successful candidate will plan, deliver and develop lessons at KS3 & KS4 with the future possibility of teaching at KS5. The successful candidate will provide our students with the best possible education, helping them to develop a lifelong enthusiasm for learning.

Do you have:

Outstanding classroom practice and high expectations of all learners?
A creative and imaginative approach to teaching and learning?
A proven track record of raising attainment?
Experience in developing partnerships with the community and external organisations?
Expertise in using technology to enhance learning and teaching?
