Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and highly motivated individual to support the delivery and development of Active Stirling’s Exercise Referral Scheme – ‘Active Living for Life’. You will be required to plan, deliver and monitor the provision of high quality programmes for those referred to the scheme by local health professional.

Duties include carrying out fitness testing, inductions, assessments and to write personalised fitness programmes for patients referred by medical professionals. You will also be required to assist with promotion schemes to encourage customer retention, meeting income targets for exercise referral and working with key partners to engage with particular client groups from the local community.

A level 3 exercise referral qualification is essential, along with experience of working in a busy gym and being able to work as part of a team.

Although the successful applicant must be a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups Scheme (PVG Scheme), having PVG Scheme Membership is not essential when applying for the post, as Active Stirling will process this once the successful applicant is appointed.
