HotSpot Media is seeking a creative, organised and experienced Feature Writer to join its team in Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and written skills, plus the ability to think clearly in difficult situations. Experience on a newspaper, magazine or at a press agency is crucial. A competitive edge and NCTJ qualifications are also essential, while a story portfolio is preferred.

The role requires someone who can use their experience to source exciting and original stories that can be placed in the UK and international press.

Candidates should be familiar with HotSpot Media stories and they should be regular readers of the UK’s tabloids and know their Take a Break from their Closer.
