Job Description
Full time contract until 30 June 2019
(Post continuation subject to funding)
Salary: £23,500 – £27,500
The post-holder will be responsible for implementing elements of the FA National Game Strategy. The post will be based at the Association’s Chelmsford Office. The successful applicant will join a highly regarded Development Team reporting to the County Development Manager.
Responsibilities will include:
• Strategic development of football opportunities across all forms and formats (5v5, 7v7, 9v9, 11v11) of the game involving mini soccer, youth, adult, male, female, disability and futsal.
• Ensure robust links are in place between affiliated and recreational football pathways
• Develop strong relationships with Essex County FA member clubs and leagues.
The successful candidate will:
• Be a University graduate (or similar) who is able to demonstrate knowledge of the FA National Game Strategy.
• Be able to communicate with a wide range of partners.
• Have at least two year’s experience of working within sports development and be able to demonstrate an ability to plan, deliver and evaluate programmes.
• Hold a full driving licence and have access to a vehicle.
• Be available to work evenings and weekends when necessary.
