SCL Education and Training (SCL) is a leading provider of sports based vocational education in the South of England.
An exciting vacancy has arisen for a Regional Manager.
The role will cover the London and Home Counties area. The successful candidate will report to the Head of Education and Training and is responsible for the management of their region and operational service delivery.
Regional managers are accountable for driving learner numbers, increasing earning potential from current contracts within their region and for maximising any potential new business opportunities. They will need to lead on strengthening the region they are responsible for and take accountability for ensuring numbers are not only met but exceeded.
They will be responsible for effectively managing and supporting all employees and venues within their region to ensure every individual employee and site is maximising it’s potential and that everyone is working together to achieve the best outcome for SCL and our learners.
This will include creating operational plans as well as ensuring quality is managed and service delivery supports the business strategy, goals and objectives. The Regional Manager will be responsible for ensuring delivery of courses and educational programmes, developing loyalty from existing customers by delivering excellence.

Experience/Qualifications:
Essential
•Proven experience of managing a team of staff within a target driven environment
•Strong leadership and performance management ability
•Able to build working relationships at a senior level
•Strong communication and self-motivation skills
•GCSEs English and Maths (C or above or key skills equivalent)
•Satisfactory DBS check
Desirable
•Familiarity with the active learning sector, current trends and needs
•Track record of analysing and monitoring company data to drive team performance
•Understanding of tutoring, qualifications in the sector and delivery
