We are a ‘Good School’ (Ofsted March 2013)
We seek to appoint an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated teacher with a real passion for teaching and learning to join our school from September 2015, or July if you are an NQT.
Geography department
The Geography department attains results above national average and students make impressive progress based on their start points. Due to this we have large numbers of students opting to take Geography for GCSE and some also stay on to study Geography at KS5. Due to the popularity of Geography at George Greens School we require another great Geographer.
The educational offer is both sufficiently broad and rigorous to fully meet the individual needs of EVERY student, including the most academically able. We are a school that has not only become accustomed to change but that also looks ahead, plans for and embraces change. We expect and look forward to candidates who want an active role in taking the school forward at this exciting time.
