We are seeking to appoint a number of high calibre Graduate Teaching Assistants for the forthcoming academic year, starting in August 2021, on a 12 month fixed term contract for both our Senior School and Prep School, set in the beautiful Midford valley on the outskirts of Bath.
Graduate Teaching Assistants are seen as an important part of the Pastoral and Academic teams at Monkton. This is an exciting opportunity to explore and gain experience of working with young people in a supportive Christian ethos school environment and allow you to decide if teaching or pastoral care is the right career path for you. You will be expected to help with various activities during the school day, such as supporting in a classroom environment, supporting and supervising sport lessons and activities, to be resident on site, and to help care for the boarders after the academic day has finished and at the weekends.
