Charterhouse is a beautiful school and a wonderful place to live and work. It was founded in 1611 and moved to its present magnificent 250 acre site near Godalming in 1872. The School has over 800 pupils aged between 13 and 18, all of whom, except for about 40 ‘day boarders’, are boarders.
This is an outstanding opportunity for an enthusiastic, experienced and highly qualified graduate to lead and teach within a thriving and talented department. A strong track record of achievement in team leadership and management is essential, demonstrating the capability to turn a vision into results.
A willingness to contribute to the wider extra-curricular and pastoral life of the School will be expected.
Charterhouse offers a competitive salary scale, single or family accommodation as required and other benefits including membership of the School’s Sports Club and private medical insurance.
