This vacancy has come about through the appointment of the current incumbent to the position of Deputy Head at another school. The Head of Upper Years will have the primary responsibility for the day-to-day running of Years 9-11 and will work closely with the Senior Leadership Team and the other Heads of Years.
We are seeking an enthusiastic inspirational leader and manager with exceptional organizational, communication and inter-personal skills and a proven track record of excellent teaching. The role will include responsibility for the Upper Years Improvement Plan, the tracking and reporting in those years, sixth form references and the GCSE programme.
The Head of Upper Years will need to be a subject specialist, able to teach GCSE and A level, in one of the following areas: Computer Science, Biology, History, or Geography.
