In preparation for the retirement of our long-serving Head Teacher, the governors of Paganel Primary School are seeking to appoint a new leader to start in September 2016. Our objective is for all children to achieve their personal best, and this requires an individual who is dedicated, inspirational and motivating. We are currently expanding to a two-form entry school with 352 pupils at present including a Resource Base for ASC pupils which currently has provision for 6 KS2 pupils. As the rest of the school expands this will also be expanding to 12 places.

Following an Ofsted inspection in June 2015, which identified the school as ‘requires improvement’ the school is on an improving trajectory and we are seeking a Head Teacher who:

is an effective communicator with a proven record of successful leadership
will coach, inspire and motivate our staff and children while making them feel valued and supported
possesses the determination and resilience to sustain the progress of the school
has the vision and drive to further promote and inspire the highest standards of teaching and learning
