Christian Education with Care

Blue Coat Church of England School and Music College serves the city and Diocese of Coventry providing ‘Christian Education with Care’. Blue Coat is a highly regarded, successful and over-subscribed school. In 2011 it became a converter academy.

In recent months the school has faced some significant challenges but the Governors and staff working together have made huge progress in moving the school to a more secure base both in terms of its financial affairs and its provision for learning. We are proud of the ethos of our school and the high standards we continue to achieve.

We are looking to appoint a headteacher with the skill, determination and commitment to create a new vision and build on the progress already made to raise still further the standards achieved by all our students.

You will join a school with motivated students, a strong team of dedicated staff and the support of an experienced Interim Governing Body and be part of a community underpinned by Christian values.
