Due to the retirement of the present Headteacher a unique opportunity has arisen for a dynamic school leader to continue to lead and further develop our good school. The Governing Body are seeking to appoint a practising Catholic with the vision, inspiration and leadership skills to, working in partnership with them, motivate and support staff and pupils in the continued development of Holy Rood.
We are looking for a Head Teacher who:
Has the ability and ambition to continue to raise standards, enabling every child to reach their highest potential;
Has the gifts, talents, enthusiasm and experience to drive improvement.
Has a strong Catholic faith, with a clear understanding of education and leadership in a Catholic school which has a strong outward focus and philosophy of working in partnership;
Will continue to build on our successful links and relationship with parents, the parish and wider community;
Will use their vibrant, creative and enthusiastic leadership qualities to ensure our committed staff team continue to grow and improve.
