The Board of Trustees seek to appoint an innovative, visionary and transformative Headteacher to lead this 52 week establishment that is both home and school to 28 children and young people aged 8-19 years who have the most severe and complex learning difficulties and autism. Many have additional challenges such as epilepsy, aggression, self-injurious or restrictive behaviour. The school does not have classrooms, as our children will not learn this way, instead we incorporate learning into activities. Loddon School has a philosophy of Positive Behaviour Support and all staff are committed to PROACT-SCIPr-UK, which was developed here.
