Christian Today (www.christiantoday.com) is looking for energetic reporters with an eye for an original story and a passion for the church to join our growing London-based team.

Located just off Trafalgar Square, in the heart of London’s West End, Christian Today is offering entry-level reporters a fantastic opportunity to bring their own ideas and creativity to the website – which attracts upwards of three million hits a month – whilst working as part of a friendly and highly motivated team.

The successful candidates will be enthusiastic about finding new angles to familiar issues, and be able to take the initiative in compiling engaging copy to tight deadlines.

There is a genuine occupational requirement that the available posts are held by practising Christians who subscribe to our Basis of Faith.

Journalistic experience and theological awareness are a bonus, but we welcome applications from candidates with little or no relevant experience who have written ability and a willingness to learn.

Key responsibilities and tasks:

Work with other members of the editorial team to create a range of original articles and features for publication on the Christian Today website
Contribute original ideas during editorial meetings
Attend events, including some that may fall outside conventional working hours
Develop relationships with organisations and individuals from across the Christian landscape
Basic proofreading and formatting of articles
