Permanent, Part time working 18.5 hours (Monday – Friday)
Salary £12,419.42 – £14,401.14 (based on the full time equivalent £24,834 – £28,802) dependant on skills and experience
42 days holiday (pro rata)
Brooksby Melton College is a specialist vocational Further and Higher Education provider in Leicestershire, spread across two main campuses – one in the heart of the lively market town of Melton Mowbray and the other on an 850-acre estate at Brooksby. The College received a “Good” Ofsted judgement in November 2012 and our objective is to be judged an “Outstanding” College within the next five years. As part of this journey, both our campuses are in the process of a £26m redevelopment, bringing new facilities and improved environments for all our students and staff.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Lecturer in Sport to be based at our Development Academy in Mansfield, working as part of Brooksby Melton College.
The successful applicant will deliver the BTEC level 3 training for the students on the development academy. We are seeking to recruit an experienced lecturer in sports programmes, who is able to deliver to and inspire young people to complete their level 3 Sport (Performance and Excellence) qualifications alongside their academy training.
You will work independently, based in Mansfield, with strong support and Quality Assurance from the College. Qualified teaching status is essential to this post.
You will be self-motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, confident and proactive with excellent communication skills.
