This post
is to support a child with special educational and medical needs and is temporary linked to external SEN funding and/or continued attendance in the School.
The postholder will initially be required to work from 8.40am to 12.10pm on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings. However, in order to respond to the child’s changing needs, we will require the person to have flexibility to increase or decrease their hours and / or to change their days of work, should this become necessary in the future.
Qualifications required:
Minimum Level 2 Early Years’ Education and Childcare qualification or equivalent.
Experience in a similar setting is desirable.
Experience of working with children with complex medical conditions would be an advantage. The successful candidate will be required to undertake such medical training as may be required in order to fulfil the role. This post will involve intimate care.
This exciting opportunity will require the postholder to build high quality relationships with children and their families, work closely with the staff teams and assist with planning and organisation to ensure the children’s welfare and quality of learning.
