The Governors of St Philip Howard Academy are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and inspirational individual to teach Mathematics to the full age and ability range.
St Philip Howard is a sponsored academy that was established in September 2015, building on the strong spiritual and moral framework that has helped make the school so very popular over the years. The new Academy continues to draw on the invaluable guiding hand that The Catholic Diocese of Nottingham provides.
We are seeking a consistently good classroom teacher who has the potential, determination and drive to become outstanding and who is committed to delivering outstanding results for all students.
The successful person will have:
QTS and a good degree
the ability to inspire, motivate, challenge and support our students and parents
the ability, drive and passion to raise standards in teaching and learning
an understanding of how bring about rapid and sustained improvement in student outcomes
a commitment to participating fully to the Catholic life of the academy
a commitment to contributing to extra-curricular activities
a commitment to your own professional development
