Elite Basketball UK is an innovative coaching company that is at the forefront of delivering outstanding lesson to primary school children before, during and after the school day. During school holidays you will work on our specialist holiday camp for children.
Elite Basketball UK is looking for enthusiastic, hard working, passionate and loyal individuals who have the ability to deliver fun, safe and engaging lesson to become a part of our coaching team.
Job Specification –
As Primary Sports Coach you will be responsible for delivering multiple lessons throughout the school day at different locations. You will also ensure that all schools experience a level of coaching that exceeds their expectations.
The Role –
– Adhere to company procedures at all times.
– Plan and deliver a variety of progressive, inclusive and structured activities with guidance from senior member of staff.
– Maintain the working relationship between school and company.
– Liaise with senior member of staff and Directors on a weekly basis.

– Excellent communication skills when teaching lessons and communicating with teachers, adults and members of staff.
– Have the ability to plan, organise, and manage time effectively and priorities tasks and meetings on a daily basis.
– Understand that you are a role model to the children you teach and the schools you work in and conduct yourself in a professional manner at all times.
Qualifications –
– Minimum of Basketball England Level 2 Coaching certificate.
– Enhanced DBS Certificate
– Paediatric First Aid qualification ( or work towards )
– Safeguarding children in sport qualification ( or working towards )
– Any other Supporting qualifications
Knowledge & Experience –
– Have an experience of sports coaching in education and or with children
– Have proven track record of delivering ‘good’ to ‘Outstanding PE lessons in line with Ofsted criteria
– Have a knowledge of the National Curriculum for Physical Education
Education –
– A minimum of A-Level or Equivalent
– A degree in Physical Education or Equivalent is desirable
General Information –
– Applicant must hold a full UK Driving License
– Own or have regular access to a vehicle
