Strode’s is a thriving college with a strong local reputation, combining modern facilities with historic links to The Worshipful Company of Coopers, one of the City of London livery companies. We set very high expectations of our students and offer exceptional support from our well-qualified, experienced and dedicated staff. We encourage students to develop the self-confidence to fulfil their potential and achieve their ambition in a supportive and friendly environment.
Strode’s has approximately 1100 full-time 16 – 19 year old students. They come from a wide area of North West Surrey and outer London including Richmond and Twickenham, and from over 80 different schools, with nearly 50% coming from our partner schools. We offer over 40 subjects at A Level and Level 3 BTEC as well as a range of courses at Level 2. We also have a comparatively large Adult Learning provision covering accredited and full-cost recovery programmes.
We seek an outstanding leader who will make an immediate impact with an enthusiastic and motivational style, inspiring others to perform to the highest standards across all aspects of the College. As Principal, you will thrive on the challenge of improving student outcomes and actively seeking external opportunities to raise the profile of Strode’s and improve further its well established local reputation.
You may be an aspiring leader seeking your first Principal role or a current Principal seeking a fresh challenge, either way you will share and drive our Vision to be the College of choice in the local area and to inspire students to fulfil their potential by providing a broad and high quality education in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
Naturally, you will be able to demonstrate an impressive record of academic leadership and delivering improvements in student outcomes, coupled with a wealth of fresh and innovative ideas. In return, we will give you all the support you need to see your visions become reality and experience new levels of career satisfaction.
