The IFLR1000 – www.iflr1000.com – is looking for a Researcher/writer to conduct surveys and compose news and features on the financial and corporate legal markets of various countries.
The IFLR1000 provides buyers of legal services, including corporate in-house lawyers and senior decision makers at financial services institutions, with an independent assessment of the quality of service that they can expect from law firms around the world.
We currently research over 120 jurisdictions and, after re-launching our website last year, have extended our coverage to include legal market news and analysis. www.iflr1000.com has 40,000 registered users.
This is an entry-level position and an excellent opportunity to break into legal publishing. We will provide all of the necessary training.
You will compile IFLR1000 law firm rankings and relevant editorial pieces for two annual research projects using your own research findings, transaction data sourced from law firms and the wider market. Your own research will include face-to-face and telephone interviews with law firm partners and their clients.
You will also be expected to source and write news stories and additional features related to the legal markets in each of your assigned countries throughout the year.
