Job Description
St Mary’s University is a high performance centre for sport and aims to maximise student engagement in sporting activity by increasing participation and sporting excellence, utilising the World Class Sports facilities. St Mary’s have recently developed a new Strategy for Student Sport (More than a Game) and aim to become a top performing British University & Colleges Sport (BUCS) institution.
Sport Mary’s are looking for passionate, experienced and inspiring coaches to lead our teams to success. They successful applicants will instil a professional culture within the club and set clear goals that will contribute to the growth and development of the team.
The post is part time for 8-12 hours per week, this includes a minimum of two training sessions per week, matches on Wednesdays and development work. The coach should be present at all matches and therefore needs to be available on Wednesdays afternoons. However, we will accept applications from those who cannot be present at all matches due to other commitments but it will be taken into consideration when the candidate is selected and the salary adjusted accordingly.
