Part Time – Fixed Term
To plan and deliver high quality PE, sport and physical activity sessions to children aged 4-12, inspiring young people via fun, structured, educational and innovative lessons.
The key responsibilities for this role are too:
* Plan and deliver fun, educational, structured and innovative age-appropriate sport in curricular and extra curricular activities.
* Assess pupil progress, differentiating lessons accordingly to appropriately challenge all participants.
* Utilise our bespoke online portal to complete lesson plans to national OFSTED expectations.
* Use our bespoke online portal to measure impact of delivery.
The successful candidate is likely to have knowledge of the PE National Curriculum. You will need to be passionate about and committed to the development of school sport, and be able to plan, set and achieve objectives within strict deadlines. Candidates must also demonstrate team working skills and the ability to work unsupervised on their own initiative. Excellent communication and customer service will be expected.
Essential:
* Recognised NGB Level 1 Coaching Certificate (Level 2 desirable)
* Child Protection/Safeguarding Certificate
* First Aid Certificate
* Enhanced DBS Check
* Experience and knowledge of working with children and young people
* Competent in literacy and numeracy
* Access to own transport with a full & clean driving licence
