Role Descirption
As a Sports Co-ordintaor you’ll be required to work within a school environment implementing and delivering the sports National Curriculum. You’ll be working to inspire and develope the Fundamental skills, Sports knowledge and the importance living activily to children aged 4-11 years old. You will need to plan and prepare PE activities which is varied, fun, progressive and suits the ages and abilities it is being delivered to. The Lessons will need to be delivered in a way which is structured, eduactional and stimulating with exceptional child management demonstrated throughtout.
Your expertise will also be needed to help improve the basic skills of school teachers who are designated to your PE lesson within your schools. You will need to help support advise and improve knowledge through the prepartaion our CPD action plan.
In order to fulfill this role we are searching for the right candidate who is fully commited to the role and has a clear passion for the developement of youth sports within schools. You will need to be confident in your delivery and not shy away from taking the initiative to take the lead role. You must be enthusiastic and have a high level of motivation to include all children in lessons.
You will need to be professional at all times and demonstrate the right characteristics that you wish the chidlren to look up to. This will include positive behaviour in and out of class, supporting and respecting others including class teachers, encouragement of class work to the highest level, the safe use of equipment around the school.
Resposibilities:
Evaluating performance and give feedback- balancing both critisism and positive feedback/ motivation
Assessing ability and idendtifying areas for ruther developement
adapating to arrange of sporting and learning abilities
Delivering sports session tailore to the knowldge and ability
inspire self esteem and confidence
provide suitable progression oppotunities for children within lessons
increase knowledge of fitness and health and the benefits it holds for the future: healthy eating/drinking
Liasing with other sports companies to offer further development programmes.
Support and prepare teams for inter school tournaments.
Requirements:
Minimum Level 2 in any chosen sport
First aid desirable
safeguarding
Enhanced DBS disclosure
Experince prefered but also willing to learn
Full Uk driving licence
Team player and motivator
Professional manner
Excellent customer skills
Excellent presenation skills
Experience of working with SEND desirable
Willing to travel
Working hours:
Our working hours vary from school to school, however some days you maybe required to start late mornings and will normal finish by 4:30pm. Our pay reflects the fact you may work an afternoon or mornings on some days.
Some eveneing and weekend may be required
Time where possible may also be given to work from home to support and plan for various sports events.

£60-£75 Per day dependnig on experience + company van ( to the commited candidate)
