Our aim is to bring our business-targeted content to life by embracing the rules of consumer journalism. The content and design of our magazines and news websites is intended to be the most engaging and provocative in the industry.
Our three brands (HR Grapevine, Recruitment Grapevine and EG Board & Leadership) might cover anything from CEOs causing controversy on Twitter and Board members getting jailed to sexist job adverts and why people should be allowed to bring pets to work.
And so, in order to keep on top of our ambitions we are looking to grow our small and dynamic editorial team. Are you up for the challenge?
We want a journalist that has experience writing and working for a national publication. Ideally someone who can get their head around how businesses are run, so that they can draw the links between national news or viral videos and how they relate to our audience. Specific HR or Recruitment experience is not essential.
The individual will work across all three brands and will be required to write news, features and contribute to reports, so they will have to have an adaptable writing style. Furthermore, we are looking for someone who can write a good headline and has a keen eye for detail so that they can help the team with subbing and proofing. They should also have a qualification/degree in journalism.
There is room to grow in this role. Our company was established in 1979 but has expanded rapidly in recent years and as we get bigger, so do the opportunities.
Our Head Office is just passed North London – Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire (20 minutes from Kings Cross). We also have a satellite office in Moorgate, Central London.
