Swim Teacher / Pool Attendant – Denton – Active Tameside

To apply for this position you must hold the ASA Swimming Teachers Certificate Level 2 and a a RLSS Pool Lifeguard foundation module (relevant edition) qualification.

The working hours for this vacancy are 7 hours a week, this involves working Mondays only: 12pm – 7.45pm.

As a Swim Teacher you will be responsible for delivering private swimming lessons as part of the swimming instruction programme. You will also be responsible for the maintenance of records and supervising customers using the pool. You must have experience of class organisation and control, along with confidence in dealing with adults and children. You will need to possess strong communication skills and customer service skills, along with the ability to work on your own initiative and be able to motivate others.

As one of our Pool Attendants you will assist in delivering an efficient and effective service in relation to, pool lifeguarding, maintenance of plant and equipment, cleaning, and the supervision of changing rooms and common areas.

You will need excellent customer care and communication skills, a welcoming, helpful manner and proactive approach to service improvement as well as an understanding of Health and Safety procedures.
