Tidemill is an outstanding and innovative school at the leading edge of educational reform. PE is a valued part of our provision. Our pupils have a positive attitude to sport and healthy lifestyles and participate in many of our extended school opportunities. In the last two years we have attended the London Youth Games in a range of sports and been successful in many Lewisham competitions. We have achieved the Sports KiteMark and have just put in our application for gold. Tidemill has good links with local clubs and regularly use the pool next door at Wavelengths.
Working alongside our full-time sports coach, the successful candidate will bring new ideas and skills to the post through leading and teaching PE from the EYFS to Year 6. The candidate will also contribute to core areas of learning through an allocated teaching load for approximately one day per week e.g. a G&T maths set and guided reading group per day.
