Ideally, you will:
– Have experience of delivering the KS2 curriculum and/or KS3 Humanities subjects;
– Have a commitment to working in partnership with staff, parents and external agencies to provide maximum support and excellent learning opportunities for all students;
– Be an outstanding teacher who is passionate about encouraging all children to achieve success;
– Have the ability to deliver lessons in a core subject (English/Maths/Science) if needed;
– Be ambitious to support and extend the learning opportunities for all of our students;
– Be able to build effective relationships with students who have SEMH related SEN;
– Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
– Be passionate about inclusion and meeting students’ individual needs;
– Be highly motivated, resilient and committed to securing the best possible outcomes for our students;
– Be positive, proactive and solution focused;
– Have high expectations of yourself and the students you work with;
– Have a good understanding of working with students with special educational needs;
– Be a team player with a good sense of humour.
