Berwick Academy is located midway between Edinburgh and Newcastle on the east coast mainline and serves the beautiful coastal community of Berwick upon Tweed in north Northumberland. We are a co-educational academy for pupils aged 13-18, with 702 pupils of whom 182 are in the 6th Form.

The Governing Body would like to appoint an enthusiastic teacher of Maths to join a well-established, supportive and innovative team, which delivers at Key Stage 3, 4 and 5. You may be required to teach all three Key Stages and experience of teaching A level and Further Maths would be useful.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and NQTs.

You will be a dynamic and energetic practitioner with high expectations, be passionate about your subject and able to inspire and motivate students. You must be committed to the highest standards of teaching and learning, through lesson planning, and detailed assessment.
