Full-Time or Substantial Part-Time
We require a well-qualified, enthusiastic and energetic graduate to join a flourishing Music department to teach throughout the school to A-level from January 2016, to cover maternity leave. An ability to offer Edexcel AS Music Technology would be an additional recommendation.
The College has a long tradition of high achievement in performing, listening and composing. There is a well-established choir and orchestra, together with a variety of ensembles. The department has modern and spectacular teaching facilities including an ICT suite and recording studio and access to a fine chapel organ by James J Binns.
An enthusiasm to become involved with extra-curricular music is essential. Candidates should be able to demonstrate success in the classroom and be effective team players.
Princethorpe has its own pay scale which is above national scales; single accommodation may be available.
