Two exciting positions are available as a Teacher of Girls’ and a Teacher of Boys’ PE and Games to join an experienced and successful department with a rapidly growing regional and national reputation for Sport.
Ashford School has recently benefitted from significant investment in sports facilities which include three indoor swimming pools, two sports halls and two full size flood lit Astroturf pitches in addition to extensive grass pitches. Development of a further 25 acres of grass pitches, including four cricket squares is near completion and puts the school on a par with the leading independent schools in the country.
Applications are invited from well-qualified and enthusiastic graduates to teach PE and Games.
The successful candidates will be based at the Senior School and will deliver a timetable to include PE and Games lessons across Years 7 to 13 and Examined PE classes to Years 10 to 13.
Ashford School operates an extensive co-curricular programme and has a comprehensive fixture list in each of the main team games for boys and girls , as well as swimming, tennis and cross country/biathlon. The successful candidate would be expected to coach either rugby, hockey or cricket to elite level for boys and, for girls, the successful candidate would be expected to coach either netball or hockey to elite level.
