Teacher of Science – Mill Hill County High School – Barnet

We wish to appoint a talented and inspiring Teacher of Science to join a large, exciting and successful Science Department in our diverse and very popular school. The attainment of students is high and the pastoral and behaviour support systems are outstanding. Science is a thriving subject within the school with a large number of ‘A’ level classes. All science lessons are taught in well-equipped laboratories with interactive whiteboards and digital projectors.

We welcome applications from experienced teachers and those new to the profession. There are excellent arrangements in place to support and mentor new colleagues. Mill Hill County is an excellent school in which to advance your teaching skills with opportunities for further development and promotion. The post will provide the successful applicant with opportunities to teach science across the full age and ability range at KS3, KS4 plus both GCSE and A level in their specialisim to the most able. Admission into Year 7 is offered to children of teaching staff who have had 2 or more years service at MHCHS.
