Sport is an essential part of school life from Reception to Year 13. The curriculum is broad and varied and there is an extensive extra-curricular programme. From Year 4, inter-house events take place for all pupils, and in Year 5 there are fixtures for selected teams against local schools. Years 5 and 6 participate in week-long residential trips to Weymouth and France respectively, whilst Year 7 enjoy a challenging week’s residential visit to Somerset for outdoor activities and pastoral development.
In the Sixth Form the range of activities undertaken include rock climbing at Brookes University, self-defence, fitball, squash, fitness suite and dance.
There are also opportunities to coach swimming and games in the Junior School and in KS3.
