Vice Principal – Moor End Academy – Kirklees

Required April 2016

The Principal and Governors are seeking to appoint a dynamic individual with real commitment and drive together with a proven track record of raising standards, to lead on teaching, learning and assessment across the academy. The successful candidate must be an excellent practitioner, able to lead by example and inspire others, whilst providing challenge, rigour and strategic direction to The Pennine Teaching School Alliance.

You will:

Be an outstanding existing senior leader with a proven track record of improvement and leadership

Have a clear understanding of what constitutes outstanding teaching, learning and assessment and how this underpins school effectiveness

Be able to demonstrate the ability to evaluate and plan strategically, motivate and inspire both staff and students

Be committed to developing the academy as part of the community and embracing relationships with stakeholders such as parents and governors

Have the ability to lead and manage multiple facets of an organisation, enthusing people to work towards a common goal

Be an outstanding organiser, be proactive and have an ability to support effective teams.
