Househam Henderson Architects require a business development manager to provide temporary maternity leave cover. The estimated duration of the post is five months, starting in August 2015. The successful candidate will work with their opposite number based in our Berlin office, with direct responsibility to the CEO and practice directors. Typical duties will include:
cold calling and emailing on a daily day basis to maintain and develop leads
assisting with new client enquiries, logging information, researching new clients and opportunities
assisting with commercial correspondence related to new business and business development including fee proposals
liaising with the graphic designer for the preparation of marketing materials for meetings and presentations
data entry and updates on the client relationship management system (CRM)
preparation of business development campaigns (newsletters, mailings, etc)
organising company participation at trade events, including organising meetings, managing attendees’ diaries and general support of event planning activities
We are looking for candidates that are self-reliant, well organised, meticulous and efficient. Excellent English (written and spoken) is essential and a European foreign language is desirable. Experience working within the design and architecture industry is advantageous but not essential.
