Role: Operations Manager – PT&D
Salary: £70,000 to £80,000 plus package.
Location: Midlands
Are you an experienced Operations Manager with a history of successfully delivering HV Power, Transmission and Distribution projects including; Underground Cables, Overhead and Substations? Are you looking for an opportunity to join an Operations team within a high profile Power, Transmission & Distribution Framework? Then a role within a Market leading Contractor could be for you.
My client is looking to recruit an experienced Operations Manager with a background in Substation delivery to join them on a £2.5bn Alliance Framework.
The successful candidate will be an integral part the Operational team for the framework with responsibility to lead and manage all Substation delivery activities and operational personnel within the business.
Meet profit and service objectives, develop inter department relationship management and enhance customer service.
Your duties will include:
Understanding and meeting both Company and the client requirements, utilising feedback to enhance service delivery.
Leading Project Managers to ensure resources are optimised to increase workbook and reduce costs.
Assisting in producing and maintaining a defined business plan to reach both the clients and Company goals and values.
Providing accurate and punctual monthly reports.
Ideal Qualifications include:
Proven experience at management Level.
Experience of management of substation construction up to 400kV.
Effective communication skills and the ability to undertake persuasive presentations to large audiences.
A proven track record in tendering and managing projects, including sub-contractors.
Comprehensive knowledge and experience in risk management analysis.
Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and financial control.
Knowledge and experience of construction design management regulations and business assurance systems.
The ability to build strong working relationships, excellent relationship management skills and ability to operate within a complex and changing stakeholder environment.
The ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems.
Established mechanisms to develop opportunities between joint venture partners within an acceptable level of risk.
