We have an opportunity for a Lead Manufacturing Technician to join our Aerospace team in Edinburgh. COM DEV Europe (a Honeywell Aerospace company), is a global designer and manufacturer of space hardware and systems. We are world leaders in the production of space-qualified passive microwave equipment and specialized electronics. In addition, we provide micro-satellite mission solutions ranging from mission concept studies to launch and operations.

Lead Manufacturing Technician responsibilities
· Carry out assembly tasks on flight grade space hardware
· Review assembly methodology and approach, identifying potential process improvements
· Generate and validate process documentation as required for both project and development work
· Provide technical support to engineering and product assurance (PA)
· Complete assigned tasks within schedule requirements
· Provide input at design review stage and MRR’s (Manufacturing readiness reviews)

Qualifications
· Microwave product knowledge
· Assembly and Test experience in a production environment
· Experience in middle to high volume as well as specialist project work
