Continued growth within our Global Technology Operations Project Services Wintel team means we have an opening for an experienced Wintel Technical Architect to work in a dynamic and challenging environment with a pedigree of Server Management excellence.

Your future duties and responsibilities:
As a Wintel Technical Architect you will lead on projects to deliver high quality solutions to our clients. Duties will include producing designs and leading the project team to implement changes that achieve a high level of client satisfaction, delivering solutions into CGI and 3rd party Data Centres on time, within budget and to a high standard.
You will ensure that all necessary support documentation is amended to reflect any solutions delivered.
You will be required to develop and own low-level designs and providing feedback on high-level designs reviews where subject matter area is impacted, e.g. viability, product selection, best practice.
Once work is complete, you will then be required to provide documentation and information to hand servers over into BAU. You must be comfortable to perform out of hours change work as and when required.
You must be able to work on own initiative and act as technical lead to consultants and engineers working on the projects. There will be a need to work in a CGI Office, at home or on client sites when required.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:
You will have demonstrable experience of Microsoft Server Infrastructure and Virtualisation platforms. Experience of Cloud technologies and M365 is desirable.
Appropriate vendor certifications would be an advantage.
All applicants must hold or be prepared to undergo National Security Vetting (NSV) Security Check (SC) level.
