InterHealth is an incorporated charity, regulated by the Care Quality Commission and has a projected turnover of £2.8 million for 2014-15. In January we opened a centre in Nairobi to serve Africa and now have over 60 staff working across two locations.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing charity which is expanding internationally by taking on the management of our Finance Department in London, and with an oversight of our finance function in Nairobi. Managing a team of three, you will make a vital contribution to our success by taking responsibility for all monthly financial accounting aspects of our work under the direction of the Director of Finance & Administration. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in contributing to the ongoing development of InterHealth, while giving you the scope to advance your career.
We are looking for a Qualified/Part Qualified/Qualified by Experience Accountant (AAT, ACA, ACCA, CIMA), preferably with experience in an international environment. You should have good Excel skills and will need strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills. You will need to be able to communicate well when working with colleagues/clients in other countries.
