If you are a qualified teacher with experience working in an elite sporting environment and are passionate about educating and working closely with 16-19 year olds we have a role for you at the Crystal Palace Football Club Academy.
You will be responsible for….
• Leading the delivery of the BTEC Sport qualification for the Under 18’s
• Leading the delivery of the Sporting Excellence Apprenticeship for the Under 18’s
• Delivering BTEC sport to the Under 18’s
• Tracking and monitoring of player progression on the BTEC sport programme
• Preparing all the Under 18’s for the Sporting Excellence Professional football apprenticeship – end point assessment
• Liaising with education provider on delivery of BTEC Sport qualification
• Attending relevant Premier League training for BTEC and SEP qualifications
• Other duties and responsibilities as required by line manager
• Upholding and promoting the Club’s policies and procedures, including Health and Safety, Safeguarding and Equal Opportunities policies and procedures.
You will have…
• Qualified Teacher Status (essential)
• Experience working in an elite sporting environment (essential)
• A proven track record of delivering outstanding results for 16-19 year olds (essential
• A1 Assessors qualification (desired)
You are…
• An expert in delivery of the BTEC Level 3 National Diploma in Sport Level 3
• Experienced in tracking and monitoring BTEC Sport provision
• Experience of BTEC Compliance and submission guidelines
• Able to build strong relationships with students and professionals alike
• Energetic, enthusiastic and committed
