Recently an exciting opportunity has arisen within the Academy pathway at Ealing Trailfinders, West London. We are looking for a strength & conditioning coach to play a prominent role in the development of our rugby players.
This season is the second year in an exciting project between Ealing Trailfinders and Brunel University, alongside our current Elite Player Pathway (EPP).
Who will this role suit?
Someone who has completed their university studies and has had paid experience in S & C. Exposure to a professional rugby environment will be an advantage.
Qualifications required: Bsc/Msc in Sport Science/S & C.
Ability to obtain UKSCA or NSCA certification, and First Aid qualification within 6 months. (or currently have).
The main roles and responsibilities are listed below:
• Assist the Lead Academy S & C Coach in the planning and delivery of the physical development curriculum.
• Assist in the academy Sports Science program.
• Play an active role in the direction of the S & C department and how our players are prepared.
• Attend Brunel fixtures as required.
The role reports directly to the High-Performance Manager and the Lead Academy Strength & Conditioning Coach.
Place of work: The role will require travelling between Ealing Trailfinders and Brunel University.
Hours of Work: Variable to include evenings, daytime and weekends.
