Activation Manager – Sport England

Job Description
This role sits within Sport England’s Digital, Marketing & Communications team, working on innovative projects which focus on getting more women active through “on the ground” activity options. This will involve working closely with the This Girl Can campaign team who focus on reducing the activity participation gap between men and women.
You will be leading ground-breaking female-focused innovation and marketing projects as well as working closely with partners such as British Cycling or parkrun on initiatives which bring This Girl Can to life. You will be forging extensive relationships across the sport and exercise industry.

Responsibilities will include:
Project managing specific innovative projects such as the £1m investment Sport England have made to launch a new Netflix-style workout platform for teen girls in schools
Working with delivery partners and agencies to execute these initiatives including: strategy, delivery and evaluation.
Identifying and influencing key partners and identifying projects to support such as with National Governing Bodies e.g. British Cycling or England Netball.
Building strong relationships across Sport England directorates and externally to bring partners (internal and external) along the journey.

We are looking for someone with:
Demonstrable experience in: leading cross-functional teams to delivery complex projects, collaborating with and influencing internal and external stakeholders, analysis and tracking performance of a project against defined metrics.
Desirable experience of: working with creative agencies such as comms, advertising & digital.
A passion for innovation and an entrepreneurial spirit.
