Aspire Active Camps are proud to be one of the few Ofsted registered school holiday childcare providers who are solely focused on sport and physical activity. Last year we provided childcare for 2,338 families, making us the most popular Ofsted registered provider of sports and activity focused childcare in the area.

Job Specification

The role of an Active Camps Co-ordinator is to:

• Improve the lives of children, young people and their families through the delivery of high quality sport and physical activity sessions
• Manage people to ensure all services provided meet customer, Ofsted and company expectations
• Manage and maintain resource inventories to meet company expectations
• Implement all policies and procedures to ensure the effective and efficient running of Active Camps
• Ensure the venue is Ofsted compliant
• Provide excellent customer service to children and parents/guardians

Knowledge and Experience:

• Record of delivering ‘Good’ and ‘Outstanding’ lessons on a consistent basis
• Record of receiving ‘Good’ and ‘Very Good’ school feedback on a consistent basis
• Demonstrate understanding of what makes high quality sport and physical activity sessions
• Have a knowledge and understanding of effective pupil behaviour management
• Experience of people development and managing people
• Experience of delivering high levels of customer service
• Experience of having difficult conversations
• Knowledge of Ofsted requirements for childcare providers

General:

• Driving licence and access to own mode of transport
• This job is subject to receipt of an enhanced CRB disclosure and references

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of one Level 2 NGB qualification (or working towards)
• Paediatric First Aid qualification (or willing to work towards)
• Safeguarding Children in Sport qualification
• Level 3 Childrens Workforce Qualification or QTS OR
• Completed Common Core Workbook (or be willing to work towards)

• Accredited training qualifications in staff management, mentoring and people development

• Basic pay of £400 pw with the opportunity to achieve a bonus of between £62.50- £150 per week.
