We are looking for enthusiastic and passionate coaches to teach sport to children aged 4-12 in Guildford, Epsom and Leatherhead.
We provide the opportunities for our staff to develop professionally both in coaching and also in different areas of the business. You will be supported by the team of other like-minded professionals and get access to a variety of training opportunities.
What you will be responsible for:
Delivering sport and physical activities to children and young people, both in school curriculum time following the PE National Curriculum and/or set Schemes of Work, and also delivering a range of extracurricular activities before school, at lunch times, after school and in school holiday periods.
What are we looking for in you:
Essential Qualifications
• Hold a minimum NGB Level 2 coaching certificate
• First Aid Cert
• Child Protection certificate
• DBS or CRB certificate
Desirable
• Hold the Level 2 Supporting Learning in Physical Education and School Sport certificate
• Hold a Coaching or Sports Degree
• Multi Skills Development in Sport Level 2 award
• Additional sport coaching at minimum Level 1
Personal Attributes & Other Skills :
• Self-motivated with the passion for coaching and work with children.
• Be able to plan a range of sports sessions and lessons
• Be reliable, tolerant and determined.
• Strong time management and planning skills
• Motivate and instil confidence in others, have a presence and be able to get on with others and be a team-player.
• Be an excellent communicator, able to establish good rapport and effective communication with children, parents, teachers and peers.
• Drive and have access to own transport
• Be computer literate
• No criminal convictions or cautions
Benefits:
Part time wage – £8 to £15 depending on experience
