Job Description
Special Olympics GB provides sports coaching and competition for people with an intellectual disability through our network of 120 volunteer-led clubs in England, Scotland and Wales. There is an extensive programme of local, regional, national and international competition with our National Games taking place every four years and biennial World Games.
We are seeking an Administration and Insight Assistant to support our Sports and Development team in its work to:
Develop new opportunities for people with an intellectual disability to participate in sport and Special Olympics
Support and develop our competition pathway
Provide support to our local club network
The post holder will have a variety of administrative duties and also collate statistical qualitative information from a variety of sources to help us further improve the Special Olympics GB programme.
The ideal candidate will be able to manage a busy workload, often working to deadlines. Attention to detail and the ability to produce accurate work under pressure are key attributes.
A thorough knowledge of MS Office is required and the Assistant will also be required to learn how to use the Special Olympics Games Management Technology software package.
