The LTA is the National Governing Body for tennis in Great Britain, Channel Islands and the Isle of Man, and is responsible for developing and promoting the sport while safeguarding the integrity of tennis. The LTA’s vision is “Tennis Opened Up” and its mission is to make tennis Relevant, Accessible, Welcoming and Enjoyable.
The LTA take their anti-doping responsibilities very seriously and with UK Anti-Doping looking to bring in new National Assurance minimum standards, a new role has arisen to help ensure we fulfil all our responsibilities as a fully compliant NGB.
The Anti-Doping Officer will be responsible for developing the LTA’s Anti-Doping strategy and implementation plan, and coordinate and deliver anti-doping education to players, parents & coaches of all levels from grass roots clubs through to regional training.
The role would suit someone with strong project management and coordination skills, alongside an ability to build and foster effective relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Whilst a specific knowledge of anti-doping rules and regulations is desirable, a solid understanding of sports related governance is essential.
We are looking for someone to take this role on a part time (0.5 FTE) basis for a period of 6 months.
