The Duston School is looking to appoint an Assistant Director of Learning (KS4) for English. This position focuses on supporting the Director of Learning, but also taking a lead role in extending and embedding the quality of teaching and rigorous monitoring strategies in the department.
The role itself will involve the tracking and monitoring of key student groups within KS4 English whilst also implementing successful strategies to tackle underperformance. The role offers an excellent opportunity for an imaginative, creative and inspiring teacher to work in a supportive and energetic school where students are making significant and sustained progress. It is therefore key that you have a passion for your subject and be able to embed an enjoyment of English for all students in your classroom.
Applicants will have a proven track record of success in the classroom and must be able to demonstrate the talent, interpersonal skills and leadership skills required to inspire and motivate students and colleagues.
