Attendance Administrator – Highweek Community Primary & Nursery School

Main Duties
– To act as a first stop for incoming post, phone calls, emails.
– Front of house dealing with parents and visitors making sure safeguarding procedures have been followed.
– Ensure pupils attend regularly and on time.
– Ensure that targets and deadlines are met.
– Liaise with our Education Welfare Service on attendance issues.
– Run efficient administrative services to promote good attendance and record information and data accurately, in accordance with statutory requirements.
– Make sure daily tasks are completed.
– Management of Attendance Office work-flow.
– Ensure all pupils taking part in an outside activity, and relevant details have been entered onto the system correctly.
– Ensure all absent students have been accounted for, i.e. first day telephone call home and in the absence of a parent being available send a letter home.
– Ensure all AM / PM registers have been completed correctly.
– Answer parent holiday requests with the correct correspondence.
– All pupil photos are up to date on SIMS.
– All exclusions are reported correctly and the correct paperwork has been completed.
– Main contact for pupil data and input onto school systems.
– Process all nursery admissions, allocating hours and processing school contracts for parents.
– Liaise with Nursery staff on nursery inductions.
