The University of Warwick is one of the leading Universities in the country, consistently in the top 10 of UK league tables and rapidly climbing the international rankings of world-class universities, recently moving into the top 50 worldwide.
The University has invested in excess of £45 million in new sport facilities to include a Sport and Wellness Hub which was opened on the 15th April 2019. As part of this investment the University also has a vision of becoming “the most physically active campus community in the UK by 2020”. Consequently, Warwick Sport is now looking to appoint a badminton development group coach to lead on the on court coaching of the badminton development group at the University of Warwick, to include the BUCS male and female badminton players.
As an experienced badminton coach you will work collaboratively with the wider Warwick Sport Performance Team to develop and deliver an excellent programme of for the development group in line with the University of Warwick’s vision and strategic aims. You will also work directly with the Badminton Head Coach on delivering high quality sessions for the development group. This role will also work more broadly on raising standards and opportunities for badminton at the University.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced badminton coach with a passion for badminton and a proven track record of delivering high quality badminton coaching to further enhance and shape the future of badminton at Warwick.
