Job Description

Boccia England is a charity and the national governing body for the sport of boccia in England. We have recently been awarded additional funding from Sport England to help deliver our Whole Sport Plan. A key part of this is to strengthen our infrastructure by developing our volunteer workforce. We are now looking for someone with the right skills and enthusiasm to join our development team and take on this area of work. You will be based at our head office in Nottingham but the role involves travel throughout England.

The role is an exciting opportunity for someone who has experience of working in the sports industry and is passionate about developing sport. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of disability sport and experience of working with volunteers.

The post is time limited to the end of March 2017. It’s a challenging position but in return we offer a friendly and supportive working environment and a reward package that includes a contributory pension scheme and 25 days annual leave.
